The regatta starts in the afternoon of 10 August in the Kiel Fjord. The race takes place on state-of-the-art IMOCA boats of the latest generation, which glide across the water at record-breaking speeds thanks to foils. The Ocean Race Park on the Kiellinie offers free sailing taster sessions, a 360° tent dome ‘Ocean Dome’ with fascinating films and documentaries. You can also marvel at the Imocas and sailing teams up close. You can look forward to a colourful programme with live music.
